Dear choir, I know i am annoying cause im always scolding you guys xD, but if i dont , choir will be in a state of chaos . So, bear with me FOR THE FUTURE OF CHOIR. im stepping down soon so, you will hear me less often soon enough :) and miss my annoying voice >:p
To start things off , gentle reminder: practice yell especially the parts we are weak at. Every one of you makes a difference! Dont rely on others! Be the difference! Dont skip some parts cause you find it hard. Best way to overcome fear is to face it head on!! Memoriae the words by monday! Though needless to say itld come naturally if you sing the song enough. Also, practice your dance moves!! Oh p/s performance for yell is next thursday we only have 2 practices left to brush up( NOTICE: BRUSH UP NOT RELEARN)
Im not happy with todays discipline at all . I enjoy my last few practices with choir better when things run smoothly :/ so be nice okie!! I wish to see better self control next monday!! OR YOULL SEE MAD WOMEN SHOUTING AT THE TOP OF OUR LUNGS!!! >:D

Hi choir, elena here. I know you guys are busy people and all so I prefer to keep things short and sweet.
Quick tips:
Quick tips:
We're a choir so i hope to see the 'Less me and more we' attitude. It'ld be greatly appreciated if everyone plays at the right time only. We can have out own fun but when it's time to be serious, we have to be serious. Please work on this.
Remember to bring EVERYTHING you need to the stage BEFORE choir starts! no bargaining! 20 pushups/situps ok guys. No exceptions.
Cooperate with Janice! She's really really experienced in her music so she's kind of the best music advisor we have , please respect her for that and pay heed to her advices.
Lastly, be less chattery, i know you have all your friends around you in chior but have some self-discipline and self-restraint also, please do things FASTER. Show some sense of urgency. We don't really have much time every practice.
I like how everyone participates and not complain excessively but we have to be more enthusiastic when singing okie? It's a slow song we're learning but there has to be COLOUR.
Other than those things up there, it has been a fruitful and enjoying day with all of you. I hope to see more of these days! Cya guys on friday! :)

Yo dude and dudettes! I'm just going to go straight to the point !
We don't really have much time to practice till our performance on friday. We've got to make sure the sec 1s are awed by our glee medley and WANT TO JOIN US!! Don't you want to see the choir grow into a choir of 50,60?!? . Pull up your socks and buckle your belts!! We HAVE to be hyper!! TREMBLE WITH ANXIETY PEOPLE. We've GOT TO BE VAVAVOOM!

Hello :) I'm elena.
Just to inform you guys, We've read through the feedback! Although almost all you said the same thing, we've got the message that you guys are trying to send to us and we'll work on the feedback! To clarify some stuff, please try to understand that although we can be strict, we can also be fun! As for the strict time-frame, i do agree that trainings are abit long, just to let you know the committee always comes one hour earlier than you guys and stay back one hour later than you guys. But in any case, this strict time-frame's only for our preparation for the concert (please inform your parents that this is our crucial period, so we may all go home slightly later)
But we'll make sure we practice what we preach. So from now on, I (yes your chairman) vow that every committe member will practice what we preach! or we'll do 5 pushups for every-one broken!!
Alright, today we did lots dancing in our pretty yellow dresses. Note: I feel that we'll look really amazing up there on the stage twirling and dancing under the spotlights :). But having a good outlook isn't all, we've got to make sure that we're made of good stuff. (Not as if this hasn't been emphasized enough) Dancesteps Dancesteps Dancesteps! Let's all work hard together and perfect our steps! (i'm practicing mine after this, i swear)
I'm sure you guys can see how passionate Carinda and Murni are in putting the whole dance together and passing it down to everyone, so let's not disappoint them both, nor the teachers, mr Wong, our supporters or those who believe in us (eg. seniors) alright??
Right now, we've covered 75% of the special item. Remaining 25% you may ask? That's the passion, enthusiam and effort from all of us (if you're willing to put them in) . One week left to our concert, and i can't make it any more obvious that it's the crucial period for all of us. We either make it, or break it and the hard truth is that, it's all in our hands. Friends/classmates/schoolmates that look down on choir or you? Well let me tell you, put up a good performance and that's gonna let us leave with new found glory and respect gained.
Always remember our goal: To have an amazing and successful concert !!!

** Remember to bring your dress,gown and heels this thursday. Dress and gown to be washed,ironed and hanged :) Check your heels! if need be, send them to a coblar :) **

Hello choir. Elena here!
G-double O-D-J-O-B GOODJOB *CLAP CLAP* GOODJOB *CLAP CLAP* We did a lot of dancing today and yes we're getting there. We're so close but we're just not there yet. So, we're gonna need everyone's co-operation!! (the basics: no interruption, respect the person talking by not talking and looking at the person while he/she is speaking, bring all necessary stuff for choir and respect the conductor).
Please practice the dance at home! Especially if you always have to look/rely on someone else to get the steps right. When you dance: Wide, exaggerated and confident movements. This means that no looking at one another, SMILE (for goodness sake, enjoy your limelight on stage!!) , and dance with lots of power and speed alright! I'm happy that you guys are more alive during light up the world! ( I really like it when you guys smile and dance care-freely!!) We'l gonna work on issues on confidence once we've learnt all the steps! We only have 3 practices till the combined rehearsal. Time is running out , and its running out fast. So we gotta keep improving like how we are now!
Okay, Although the special item is important, the main bulk of the concert is also our singing, so do go home and Practice your songs!! Memorize the Lyrics/know your parts extremely well for : Aka Toenbo, Hear the music, The wind (SAB) and keeping the dream alive!! everyone MUST pass the auditions this thursday!! We've already made it this far, just put in that little effort and we'll be better than awesome on our big day :)) Sing for your parents/siblings/friends/mirror wherever, whenever you can!! It's our time to shine people. It's our time to show the world what we're made off!!! okay!!

I'll be taking attendance and i don't wish to see anyone who didn't do the stuff i mentioned above. You've got a week, and however lazy you are, just 5-10 minutes of singing/planning wouldn't kill you. Alright? There's always a time to play and a time to be serious. The year end concert is not something we can plan at the last minute . I want us to be at top-form for the concert and Hongkong. We can do it, but if we all don't work together, nothing , NOTHING is going to turn out as good as we originally planned it to be.
So, that's all for the serious part, for now.
Have a great holiday! Practice your scores and study! And we'll see you guys when school reopens, MONDAY 12th September outside the music room 3.15pm SHARP.

Hello Damai voicez!!~~ Thursday singing!
ALTOS- sounded really dead/airy/soft work harder! use your diaphragm to support okayy!! :D :D
We know you guys can do it! LET LOOSE AND KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE.!!
SOPRANOS- Sop 1s Remember to sing softer for the ending! (keeping the dream~~ keeping the dream alive) The sop 2s are singing the melody. ;)
BUT great job catching the music fast!! :D
CHOIR TEE.
Everyone!! We're going to create a choir tee !!! So, hand in your designs by Aug 31st!!! We're also going to design a "costume" for casual performances! Please give us some ideas by August 31st !!
