The Rules And Some Announcement
This is joewin here!! I will be writing some of the rules down for the sec 1's... So please, i do not want to see any infringement of the rules on Monday.
1.Do not be late
2.Do not use handphones during choir unless it's an emergency. Put all handphones in silent mode. Ask seniors for permission to use handphones.
3.Do not talk or play unneccessarily during choir practices.
4.Respect the conductor and seniors who are talking. Do not talk while they are talking and pay absolute attention.
5.School Uniforms must be tuck in at all times and Girl's Skirt should be at least 2 fingers above the knee.
6.Inform the seniors or your friends when you cannot make it for choir. Parent's letter are not allowed. Only MCs and Teacher's excuse letter is accepted.
7.Wear Pe attire or Choir Tee on thursday unless told otherwise.
8.Bring File, Pencil and notebook through out the whole session. Only if told, you can not bring your file and other stuff.
9.If you do not bring any scores, you will be punished accordingly.
10.You are not allowed to go to the toilet during choir practice unless it is urgent. Go to the toilet only during breaks or before and after choir.
Those are the main rules. So please do not break any of the rules. Punishment will be caried out. But on a lighter note, i will publish the video by tomorrow afternoon at 12p.m. So please look forward seeing it. And do not be late for the monday practice at 3.30p.m.

It was okay,
our performance was okay.
Sure, we did mix up the lyrics initially and we were singing too quickly,
but we were more stable towards the end.
Generally, it was fine.
At least we didn't make any mistakes for 炮竹一声大地春 .
The only problem was the microphone,
which apparently wasn't on,
and it is not our fault.
We know that we've tried our best,
so regardless of what your schoolmates say,
do not be discouraged.
Our next practice will be on thursday, 18th of feb.
Remember to turn up on time!
Lastly,
the committee would like to wish everyone,
a very HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR
& VALENTINE'S DAY :D

hello!!
chinese new year performance:
12th feb 2010
performers may be excuse from class from 10am onwards.
attire: any bright coloured t-shirts (red, pink, blue, lime green, orange, yellow) and jeans.
[wear red if possible]
patterns on shirt are alright.
chinese new year concert rehearsal tmr (10/02):
you guys are supposed to have already MEMORIZED the lyrics. so do not hold the song sheet tmr during rehearsal. recall how you're supposed to sing and do them.
remember to bring your attire so that we can see if we allow the colour.
THOSE WHO'RE SUPPOSED TO READ OUT THE GREETINGS DURING THE SONG INTERVAL, PRACTISE DOING IT FLUENTLY AND LIVELY. THANKS. (:
hopefully on the actual day, we'll be able to bring out the best performance. let's work together, okay? (:
PS: there's PT on thursday and meet outside music room at 3pm in full pe attire.

To all chinese students:
Please MEMORIZE the lyrics of the 2 CNY songs.
We will be performing on the 12th of feb.
You MUST memorize the lyrics of the 2 songs
by Monday, 8th of feb.

Apparently, it is sung by some kids :X
But the video includes the chinese lyrics
and the 汉语拼音 (han yu pin yin) too.
So, i think it's a rather good video.

It appears that some of you are unable to catch up with the song's speed,
especially at the 听啊，霹雳叭啦叭啦 part.
So it's best if you memorise the lyrics first,
then sing that part by yourself at your own slow pace.
Then, when you're able to sing it properly,
try to sing faster and faster until it is the actual song speed.
