For those who has not given their mortal anytng.. pls pls pls rmb to give them by this wk! We would most probably end the game.. nxt nxt wk? heehee :)
we are only.. 1 wk away to the national day performance. so... pls pls pls give us your fullest cooperation! it would be very much appreciated.

2ndly. i know sometimes in choir.. there are some ppl you might not like to see, and you find him/her and eyesore. but thats not a reason not to come for choir. especially the sec1s. today, out of 12 sec1s, only 5 turned up?! Starting from august. We are goin to punish those who has not been coming for choir for at least 2 practices without valid reasons. We would find you after school and you would go for choir whether you like it or not. Also, you would stand throughout the whole choir session. We also implemented a new ''marking attendence scheme'' i would explain again in thurs :)

the choir tee is set for printing and it would be done by the 3rd wk of august. hope you like your shirts! :)

And the reason why we are singing this is because WE WERE SOOOO AWESOME FOR FRIDAY PERFORMANCE, AND THE JAPANESES AND THE PPL IN AV THEATRE WERE IMPRESSED BY CHOIR! :) so they wanna hear us sing Tegami again :) Be happy! hahs :D

so i really REALLY want everyone to just take 5 mins off your schedule and sing at least once by yourself. you guys got the sound track already. Those who have not got it, find you fellow section mates :)
so.. for those who missed out on monday practice. We finished Tegami!! wohoo~ and memorised

and for national day, we would be most probably singing: (to be comfirmed)

2) reach out for the skies-2006 or 2005 NDP song

Also the attire for national day performance is: (can be polo or t-shirt)
-> gals: white tee-with minimun pattern, and sch skirt.
-> guys: Red tee-with minimun pattern, and sch pants.
* get you shirt prepared by NXT THURS. bedok interchange have Hangten and Giodano they sell plain tee at less than $10. you can but over the wkends or meet your choir mate and buy :) *
we also played ''angel and mortal'' game.
you are reqiured to write a letter of 3 tngs you like, 2 tngs you dislike, 1 tng you like about choir, to your motral that you picked out, without tellin who you are!!! RMB.. DO NOT SAY OUT WHO YOU ARE~ hahs and by monday you have to buy a gift of minimun $1 for your mortal with a letter of any title you want- you can write anytng :)
the game would end in about one month. 1 wk 1 letter.

RMB TO MEMORISE TEGAMI UNTIL WHERE WE'VE LEARNT !our performance for the NeBa junior high is on 23rd july! 10 more days! :O

choir teee money -$19- due date is on 23rd july (friday) , you can pass us the money anytime during sch hours :)

3rdly:
We would be performin on national day. so pls try to make it for all practices until we have no more events! *after both performances, we would not be havin (friday) sectionals. yay?

lastly:
This will be the last time i will say this. If you dont want to get scolded..pls PLS commit yourself. i know some of you find choir boring etc. but its still your cca that you are going to stick with for 4 years in Damai. whether you like it or not. y not choose to like it? and enjoy yourselves. you also learn a skill in choir-singing. im sure all of you have melodius voices, waitin for the world to hear. im sure you want to flaunt that YOU HAVE A TALENT! :D

those who didnt come on thurs. i want an explaination on monday. im dead serious about this.if you are not comin for choir without valid reasons, prepare never to come back to choir.

We can joke, play and laugh with you. but look at the number of ppl turning up for choir. if you know that choir dates clashes with your schedule, the right option to choose is to change your schedule. lets say dental appt. you can decide when you want the appt to be on, and some of you had to choose on monday/thurs. (unless its competitions/workshops/CIP the committee will understands)
but some of you. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. No reasons? truancy.
i dont want list out your names on the choir blog. either do i want this blog to be a scolding blog. We would love to praise you peeps on the blog. but THOSE PPL. just those common ppl. can you dont let us scold you for 1 day? and turn up for choir. DOESNT MEANS WE DONT TAKE ACTION, WE ARE TURNING A BLIND EYE ABOUT IT. We are giving you chances. but THOSE PPL. you guys take it for granted. MOSTLY THE SEC1 and 2. this is unbecoming of choir. from now on. i want to see regular attendence. if you come to choir for the sake of cca points, or just to show your face, y bother to join choir?
one session missed out = missing out a lot of things(fun, joy, songs etc)
im extremely disappointed.

We know who has been contributing to choir, and who hasnt.
Especially the altos. listen to yourself. Frankly to say. Alto used to be the BEST section. now? ... work harder and cooperate with your SL (section leader)-Belvy.
Thurs was the 1st time, Mr Wong shouted at the choir. We as seniors, never felt so ashamed. As you can see, Mr Wong can joke with us even though we sing badly. HE IS KIND ENOUGH. dont go overboard.

You might think, everytime you go choir, you get scolded by us. then you feel that choir is a getting-scolded-cca. BUT YOU PAUSE AND THINK, put yourselves in our shoes. We feel so heartbroken everytime we scold you. Sometimes after lecturing you, we apologize. Choir is like our 'baby'. We will do whatever it takes to protect yout interests. We will do whatever it takes to make Choir an enjoyable cca.
NOW YOU THINK. behind the scenes we did so much for you. have we ever ask anything from you?

I dont want to compare you with the old choir. Because i believe that different generations of choir runs differently. each and everyone of you makes up the choir. not one less, not one more :) WE ARE A FAMILY. AND A FAMILY STANDS BY EACH OTHER.

I hope you get after all that Im trying to say. Sec 1s, you guys have been in choir for 7 months. i expect to see improvement next wk. dont forget our performances is about 2 weeks away!

Ok, I believe that MOST OF YOU have received Sharleen's message, which is to bring $19 on Thursday. This $19 will be for your new Choir Tee! And IF ANYONE FORGETS TO BRING THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THURSDAY, THERE WILL BE AN INTEREST OF 10% CHARGED PER DAY TILL THE DAY YOU PAY UP. Please close your mouth now, and don't be too shocked. Yes, I'm just kidding. It's $19 dollars, yes, certainly, NINETEEN DOLLARS. Don't ask us why it's so expensive because it's considered cheap already since we managed to reduce the price. So, NO MONEY = NO CHOIR TEE. Oh, I think I sound fierce. But I don't care. :>

Serious Matters.
About this Choir Blog, I have been observing the tagboard for quite some time. And the people who have been tagging are always the same. Eg, Huiling, Josie. I know that some of you guys will randomly pop out a tag and I truly appreciate all of these. Yes, and this week, the lower sec will be having their Elearning. This means that ALL OF YOU will be using the computer. And I expect that the tags SHOULD BE MORE this week. We do not expect people to be tagging things like, '' Hi, tagged. '' Because these kind of tags are BORING. (sorry, if you're offended) Plus, if all of you guys tag the same thing like that tag, which I just mentioned, seriously just look at the tagboard, and you all will be extremely bored. Certainly, the Committee will be observing this tagboard and whoever that does not tag anything, please say hi to consequences.

Next, about attendance. Recently, the attendance has been dropping. Some of the regular Choir Members have not been coming to Choir for quite some time. What has happened?! I do not wish to type out the names of those, very embarrassing, I know. Choir may/may not be an enjoyable CCA for some of you. We're trying our utmost best to make it fun. If you do not come for practice, how will you know if it's fun or not. And we are NOT going to accept parents' letter anymore. MCs allowed only. Never turn up = never turn up. (:

So, this coming Thursday, 3PM- music room. Remember your tasks about tagging. Ask us questions, whatsoever, and leave your name down. And lastly, I expect to see better attendance on Thursday. Tyvm ^^ and have a nice day.

hey choir! ytd sectionals was FUN right? :D
sadly to say that the 3 stations only 10 ppl pass all. we got 11 failures (fail 2 or more stations ) out of 28 candidate :0

hmm, this shows that you guys are not puttin effort in choir. as much as i dont like to scold you guy, but you have to prove yourself worthy in choir. everyone have to contribute equally!
its unfair when only some ppl contribute and you mouth the words or you just sing without any facial expressions. many of you failed the facial expression, vowels and posture station. It says a lot about wad you guys are doing in choir. it really saddens us.

We would announce the results on thurs. those who failed. on the 3rd wk P.T you would be havin theory lessons and takin the test again. failing is not an option :)

Now your singing of Tegami, its okay. however, you have to practice as you guys tend to forget your notes, especially sop2s and altos. Sop1s, you guys tend to get sharp :/
