Today. Was. GREAT! :D It's really nice to see the drastic improvement in comparison with monday ; attendance wise, response wise and other ways.People should be jealous that we're in choir :D So,

-Bring your notebook (to paste stickers :D) and other essential stuff for choir next thursday .
-Choir starts at 3.15pm net thursday.
-Inform your parents about the hongkong trip and year end concert because we need to confirm the amount of people going by the 2nd week of june!
- submit SYF reflections on thurs and make it look long! :)
- Sec 3s who haven't handed up NYAA, please do so asap.
-Remind your friends to come for choir or they'll be missing out on ALOT of fun! ^^

We're one choir, we're a team; and every practice will reflect how well rehearsed we are for any perfomance that we will have in the future; be it hongkong trip, year end concert , or even SYF 2013. So, sec 1s don't be shy! Choir LOVES YOU GUYS! speak up and sing out more! and the rest of the choir : WE'VE GOT THIS. Now let's prove how awesome we are (to teachers, to Damai, to mr wong) during every practice and performance! GO ~~~ CHOIR! OHYEAH.

Hey choir, it's Elena here. :B

I'm here to give a review about today (monday the 27th)'s practice!
But first of all, i'ld like to let you all know that it's not really easy to stand up there and lead! So i really hope that you guys will give the new committe and yourselves some time to get used to it ! ^^ Looking forward to more awesome times with the awesome choirpeeps!

Okay, back to the point.
Today's singing was... you guys know. There's room for ALOT of improvement guys! (dynamics, loudness) I know it's kinda weird that you don't hear the previous' committees voices that much anymore, you have new faces leading you and the sec4s are gone . Not to mention that we have fewer people in choir! Pleasseee sing your best in choir! When you give 110% of effort during practices, you don't have to worry about being nervous during performances, because you'll drop to at least 90% or even better, 100%. WE HAVE FAITH IN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. We can do this but there needs to be more effort put in!

Oh! sec 1s! don't be shy when we ask you questions :) we're all a family so just feel free to say your opinions and/or reply to us when we ask a question! That's about all, remember to remind your friends to attend choir this thursday 3.15pm @ music room!

hey choir, this should be my last post here on choir blog..
i shall just make it short.
firstly for those who didnt come for choir yesterday, please cooperate with your new committee that was announced yesterday, even though you missed out the great speeches of the sec4/5s (aww)
hahhahs, so i hoped that those that came yesterday really enjoyed yourselves.
though not many of you know it but, i like to thank the sec3s for the party they held for the graduating seniors after the syf showcase, and that touching video clip! (awww)

outgoing committee:
hey guys, thanks so much for everything, putting up with my lame jokes ._. and strictness at times. accepting me as your chairman from the start and work hand in hand with me, striving to improve choir. will never forget the moments that we were the last few to leave the school (until we intended to jump down.. :D) or the first few to reach school and those excursion to buy choir things. you guys are the best! :)
thanks huiyin, belvy, xiaopei, huishan, alynn and jodi, thanks so much for your committments and your dedication to choir :) theres so much to thank for, but i suddenly duno how to type out @.@ hmmm, just rmb that i will miss our times together! and rmb our dances during the day-camps? :D hahas

to the outgoing sec4s:
i will rememer all the experiences we shared together, from when we were innocent sec1s where we had our first choir camp, to sec2 our first SYF, suppposingly-to-go-malaysia-but-didnt-go, first concert at victoria concert hall and wanrong as our spastically-funny awesome chairman and her awesome committee, and sec3 the new committee as joewin as our chairman and our first BBQ together. those are priceless memories that we shared and i will forever rmb them :D

to the incoming committee:
i hope that you guys will do a good job in running choir for the upcoming year :)

those that are not in the committee, i really hope that you guys wont be upset over it. i may not be able to comprehend how you feel, but i sincerely hope that you wont start skipping choir and not cooperate with the new committee! you guys still play a big part in choir, you have to rah-rah the choir and support the committee :) i'll rmb the times we shared for the past 3years, from when you just entered choir till now. im sure with your years of experiences you're able to help the new committee to bring choir to greater heights! i love you guys too :)

to the sec2s and sec1s:
thank you guys for joining choir, and stay till the end. i hope that you will infect other people with choir's enthusiasium and never-say-die spirit, making them change opinion about choir as you can see, we will need more members for the lower secondary! also you guys would be taking part in the next SYF, so i want you guys to learn as much as you can from your seniors and also have good memories like us, have stories to tell your juniors next time :D maintain that silver or get a GOLD! :) always reach for the skies, even if you fall you will land among the stars :)

although i said this in my speech,
but i really felt that choir was more than a CCA to me, it was more than family. it was part of my life, something i cant live without. i hope that you guys can feel this too and keep the spirit going in choir :)
looking up to your new committee as your role models and most importantly ENJOY yourselves in choir. and SING WITH A PASSION.
treasure every moment you have. its time for me to let go of choir, i promise i will pop back in! dont be sad that we're leaving. but smile because we were there.
