Hello choir 

There is choir practice tomorrow as usual. 3pm for the junior choir and 330 pm for the rest of the choir. I really really hope to see some improvement from Friday. Your behaviour was unacceptable although I really appreciate the effort that you he put in although it was a short performance. Have some self- discipline and control as well as know when is the right time to talk and when to keep quiet.
I'm pretty sure you're sick and tired of us repeating the same things all over again. So please behave tomorrow.

Last Monday practice was actually quite bad that there were 

so few of you.The committee closed one eye soooo many times 

on Monday regarding different different issues (no files, pencils,

 scores, late coming). 

Oh well, just be good tmr okay? Remember to memorise your 

'When You Believe',  take note of ALL the important details.

Practice tomorrow will be as usual at 2PM in the AV theatre. 

Please ask your friends to attend because for the Sec 1s, 2s and 4s, 

you guys will be dismissed really early! 

We will just have to perform for our visitors and that's it.

Soooo..Remember your parts okay, and LOOK AT THE CONDUCTOR. 

When he slow down, YOU FOLLOW. 

Then sec 3s will have to stay back for your interviews (haha)

 and your dismissal time is INDEFINITE. Please take note.

Okay so there's some things which we've missed out last night so here are some of the things you must bring too. 


7) foundation (girls and boys must!)
**8) comb
**9) rubber bands (girls)
*10) tissue/wipes
*11) make up such as eyeliner, lipgloss (pink), blusher (pink) ,mascara [If you have/prefer to use your own]

*12) Wear COLOUR SKIN stockings (if you want)

Remove all accessories (watches, ear studs, bracelets, necklaces) 
You know what I mean.

Hey thereeeee.

Okay. This blogpost is one of the most important of this year. Please remind your friends to read ALL of this, cos I need you take note of maany extremely important things. 

So guys, this is concert is suppose to be one of your highlights of the year. If you guys want it to be memorable, practise! Your singing today was clearly, bad, and it showed, that most of you haven't memorized what you're supposed to! Please please please, look through your score, sing once or twice once occasionally. Remember all the key things like your phrasing and breath points. Today you guys couldn't even sing the right notes, for songs we've been singing for months and it was very disappointing. So go take a look at your score in this 24 hours plus you have left! It's not too late yet!

Okay your special item today was alright! I'll give you guys 4/5! Keep practising because you guys can totally do better, and you know you can! Memorise all those parts you're singing CORRECTLY. And and your steps ofcourse, have to be coordinated. You guys can do it, I've seen all of you almost there, which is really really good. I know, we just learnt these steps and songs but like I said, whether you like it or not, we are still going to perform that item so give your bessst!

On Sunday, 6th April 2014 be in your PE attire (shorts) at 1PM under block 717

Bring all these required items :

Performance outfit - please wash and iron nicely, before using a hanger to carry it around on that day.
Girls, don't forget the golden sash!

Special Item outfit - bring the dresses/skirts+top of the colour your group will be wearing, and again, ensure it's ironed nicely.

Shoes - For the boys just bring your black pair of shoes that has been approved. Girls are to bring your heels and flat(colour that matches your outfit) that can be worn when we meet.

For those who are wearing glasses, try to wear contact lense instead. If you're not able to, it's all right.

For the girls, try your best to not tie your hair when we meet.

Others - 
1) safety pins
2) plasters (must!)
3) bobby pins for girls
4) money for food (about $10) or
5) food for dinner
6) water bottle

Please avoid eating fried and super spicy food, titbits and consuming anything that you know you shouldn't. It's for your own good, none of us wants to practise for months only to lose your voice that day! And on Sunday itself, I do NOT want to hear you talk loudly. 1 round for 1 time you do that. You need to conserve your voice! I do not want to see any of you misbehaving, taking your own sweet time and complaining. You all know, others are watching you, and you're representing Damai choir! So be disciplined and when your friend does something wrong, TELL THEM TO STOP.

Lastly, on stage it self, SMILE. Sing like you love it. Ofcourse for the songs that are not fast, you don't do that. Express yourself! Tell the story of the piece. This is quite a rare chance you know, to be able to showcase your talent to the public. You all have the potential to sing well, so do it! Do not move around too because everyone, will be watching you! When you walk, look straight and be confident. Look graceful. 

For the special item, HANDS STRAIGHT, PAY ATTENTION AND FOLLOW THE MUSIC. Have fun and it'll all be all right. (:

Hello choir, your discipline on Monday was really really bad. I know most of you were really tired on Monday but everyone is tired too. We just have to sacrifice a little more so that we can put up a brilliant performance on Sunday! You won't want to be a joke on stage right? So please, give it your all! 

There's practice tomorrow. As usual, it will start at 2 and we will end latest by 430 or 445. Please please come as this will be OUR LAST PRACTICE BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE ON SUNDAY.  I expect full attendance from the people who will be performing. Bring all your scores  which we will be using for the concert.
